Blog Editor-in-Chief
Molly is a 3L from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2022 and an M.S. in Chemistry in 2024 from Villanova University. Before law school, Molly conducted on-campus biochemistry research focusing on the proteins of the parasite Trypanosoma brucei. In summer 2025, she interned in the Legal Department at EnerSys. This past summer, she was an IP summer associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP’s Philadelphia office, where she will return after graduation. On campus, Molly is pursuing an Intellectual Property concentration and she participated in the IP Clinic in Spring 2026. She currently serves as President of the Health Law Society, is the Managing Editor of Citations and Sources for Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal, Volume 34, and represents her peers as a Secretary for the Student Bar Association. Molly was also a member of the National Patent Application Drafting Competition Team, placing third nationally in the 2026 competition.

Seychelle is 2L from Poughkeepsie, New York. She graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development in 2025. This past summer, Seychelle interned in the chambers of the Honorable Christi J. Acker in the Supreme Court of Dutchess County, NY. Seychelle's interests lie in the intersection between fashion law, copyrights, and trademarks. On campus, Seychelle serves as President of Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, 1L Representative Coordinator of the Fashion Law Society, and a staff writer for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal, Volume 38. Seychelle is set to participate in the Intellectual Property Clinic in Spring 2027.

Michael is a 3L from Statesville, North Carolina. He graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computational Physics. Prior to law school, Michael served as a Chemical Data Specialist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. After 1L, he interned at Mullen Coughlin LLC as a Litigation Law Clerk, and this past summer he worked at The Belles Group, P.C., a boutique IP firm in Philadelphia focusing on patent prosecution. On campus, Michael has won the fashion law negotiation competition and is set to participate in the IP Clinic during Fall 2026.

Vanessa Wagner
Associate Blog Editor
Vanessa is a 3L from Robbinsville, New Jersey. She earned her B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience, from the University of Connecticut in 2023. Prior to law school, Vanessa worked as a legal assistant focusing on nursing home negligence. In summer 2025, she interned in the Appellate Clerk’s Office of the Connecticut Supreme Court and in the Community and Economic Development Clinic at Yale Law School. In Summer 2026, worked at Harris Beach Murtha in its Connecticut office. On campus, Vanessa previously participated in the Health Law Clinic during Fall 2025 and is a member of the USPTO Patent Drafting Competition team, placing first in regionals and third in nationals. She has also been involved with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Vanessa is interested in both patent and trade secret law.

Mackenzie is a 2L from Bedminster, New Jersey. She earned her B.A. in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2024. During the summer of 2026, she worked in the Office of the General Counsel at Red Bull New York. In summer 2027, she will join Sidley Austin LLP as a summer associate. At Villanova, Mackenzie serves as Student Groups Chair for the Student Bar Association. She is also a staff writer for Volume 72 of the Villanova Law Review, a member of the Scarpa Negotiation Team, and a staff writer for the Sports Law Society Blog. In fall 2026, she will participate in the Intellectual Property Clinic.

Ella is a 2L from Hackensack, New Jersey. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Criminology from Villanova University in 2025. During Summer 2026, Ella interned as a law clerk with the Association of American Publishers in Washington, D.C., where she worked on matters involving copyright infringement, artificial intelligence, and First Amendment issues. In Fall 2026, she will extern with Marrone Law Firm in Philadelphia. At Villanova, Ella serves as Blog Editor-in-Chief for the Fashion Law Society and as a Contributing Editor for the International Law Society. She is also involved with the Women’s Law Caucus, Honor Board, and VLSASV. Ella is interested in pursuing a career in copyright or trademark law, with additional interests in international law and fashion law.

Mandi is a 2L from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Pace University in 2023. During summer 2026, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Crystal Bryant-Powell in the Criminal Trial Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mandi is interested in the intersection of entertainment, media, copyrights, and trademarks. In Fall 2026, Mandi will join ESCA Legal as a Legal Intern, gaining hands-on experience with intellectual property law. At Villanova, Mandi is a member of the Fashion Law Society and serves as Treasurer and Social Chair of the Black Law Students Association. In Spring 2027, she will participate in the Intellectual Property Clinic.

Colby is a 2L from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He earned his B.A. in Biology in 2022 and his M.A. in Bioethics in 2023 from The Ohio State University. During summer 2026, Colby interned at Bristol Myers Squibb’s headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey, where he gained experience with complex global licensing and collaboration agreements, various stages of the transactional process from initial diligence through closing and alliance management, HSR filings, outside counsel meetings, and patent-related matters. In summer 2027, Colby will join Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP as a summer associate in the firm’s Chicago office. At Villanova, Colby serves as an Associate Blog Editor for the Health Law Society and as a research associate with the Villanova Health Innovation Lab. In spring 2027, he will participate in the Intellectual Property Clinic.

Ella Bubeck
Staff Writer
Ella is a 2L from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Saint Joseph’s University in 2025. This past summer, Ella interned in the Office of General Counsel at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP) in addition to serving as a Research Assistant for Professor Risch, working on copyright law. Ella is interested in pursuing a career in health law and intellectual property law. On campus, Ella is an Access to Justice Fellow, serves as the Secretary of the Health Law Society, and is an active member of the Environmental Energy Law Society. Ella is set to participate in the Health Law Clinic during Spring 2027.

Staff Writer
Katelyn is a 2L from Middletown, Delaware, and spent some time growing up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Sports Management from the University of Delaware in December 2023. Prior to law school, Katelyn worked as a legislative research associate for a New Jersey lobbying firm and interned at NFL Films within their licensing department. This past summer, Katelyn interned with MLB in their Global Media group of the legal department. Katelyn’s interests center around trademark and copyright protection, particularly in sports, media, and NIL landscapes, as well as trade secrets. On campus, Katelyn is a member of the Sports Law concentration. She is also a member of the Scarpa Corporate Negotiation Team, Professional Baseball Negotiation Team, serves as Secretary of the Sports Law Society, Media/Design Director of the Fashion Law Society, a Blog Writer for the Fashion Law Blog and the Sports Law Blog, and an active member of the American Constitution Society.

Arsal Khan

Arsal is a 2L from Livingston, New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2022 with a B.S. in Neuroscience. Prior to law school, Arsal conducted research at UMass General Hospital. This past summer, Arsal served as an intern at Incyte. Arsal is interested in trademark and copyright law. On campus, Arsal also serves as an editor of the Health Law Blog and treasurer of Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Harrison is a 2L from Warren Township, New Jersey. He double majored in Political Science and International Studies at the College of New Jersey and earned his degree in 2025. This past summer, he interned in the chambers of Chief United States District Judge Renée Marie Bumb, who sits in the Camden Vicinage of the District of New Jersey. In Summer 2027, he will be working at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. He is interested in copyright and trademark law and is involved in the International Law Society, PLATO, and the Federalist Society. Harrison is also a staff writer for the Villanova Law Review, Volume 72.

Eleanor Mulvenon is a 2L from Burke, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2024 with a B.A. in Media Studies. Eleanor’s background in media studies informs her academic interest in copyright law. This past summer, Eleanor interned at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. On campus, Eleanor is involved in the Entertainment and Media Law Society and is a staff writer for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal, Volume 38.

Jillian Pursiano
Staff Writer
Jillian is a 2L from Mahwah, New Jersey. In 2024, she earned a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy from Loyola University Maryland. This past summer, Jillian worked in cybersecurity law at Connell Foley in Roseland, New Jersey. She participated in incident response processes with clients who were victims of phishing, spoofing, and ransomware attacks, as well as research for regulatory compliance in high-stakes cases involving state governments and federal regulatory bodies. She also performed research on topics including cybersecurity, data privacy, and IP concerns. In Summer 2027, Jillian plans on working in cybersecurity, data privacy, and IP. On campus, Jillian is involved in the Christian Legal Clinic of Philadelphia, First Generation Lawyers, and Women’s Law Caucus. She will also be participating in the Intellectual Property Clinic during Spring 2027.
